Default Sumiko MDC 800 'The Arm' for sale

I have one of the most revered arms of all time, the fabulous Sumiko MDC 800 'The Arm'.

Designed and built by Dave Fletcher, this fabulous arm was based on the Breur of the day. Build and performance set it apart from most.

This arm has had just one Koetsu mounted on it from new and had just a few hours use before the owner put it into storage. Since then it has resided in my cupboard, unused.

    Will post a pic later.

We are still awaiting a price Dave.

Reminds me of my Breuer, which is not surprising as Dave Fletcher based the Sumiko on the Breuer arm.

A lovely arm - good luck with the sale.

Well, I wasn't sure how much it should be but I have had a few phone calls and e-mails now and am thinking it should be 800 plus UPS carriage.

Sumiko MDC-800 arm still for sale at 800, despite several e-mails and phone calls. This is one of the top arms ever made and a steal at this price.

That's a very good price for such a well built and revered arm.

Would buy it myself had I not bought an original Breuer. Good luck with the sale.

    Thanks Barry.

That's what I thought. I can't think of anything south of 3K which I would prefer and even then... That Sumiko is a lovely thing, just to touch is magic.

I like the look of this, but not sure if worth dumping the FR64fx arm for it
