    This device may be of interest to those wanting to dip their feet into streaming but who are unwilling to spend too much money or too much time assembling a Raspberry Pi based DAC or renderer. It is based on an earlier Nuforce device described here:

    It is currently selling on Amazon for £79 including shipping which is less than it would cost to set up even the cheapest RPi device once a case and memory card are factored in. It is a simply plug and play device with firmware updates delivered over the internet.

    It caught my eye because it has support for Tidal built in, which some other companies impose a charge for. It might not be state of the art, but I figure it is probably pretty decent (given the involvement of Nuforce) and suitable for a second system or office set up.

    I should add that it also supports Deezer, Spotify and Qobuz
