    Default Wanted: Sansui TU-X1 tuner

I'm looking for a Sansui TU-X1 tuner. Any condition considered but price to be commensurate with condition. I am aware of Ebay. Please PM me directly if you can help in any way. Note, I am a genuine collector of vintage receivers and tuners, I do not buy for re-sale. Thanks.

I know your thread specifically is for a Sansui but in case you are interested I have a NAD 412. PM if any interest Steve.

Sorry Edward, no. But I am looking for other classic, high end tuners and receivers from the mid 70s to early 80s period. Cheers.

These are pretty rare in the UK, last one I saw in UK for sale was a few years ago and despite poor cosmetic nick was expensive. German sourced one on EBay are more common but command very high prices. There is a three part YouTube series re servicing and calibrating one of these, complex design.

I would expect you will have to pay £1000 plus for one of these, good luck my days of chasing tuners is over now.
