As per the title - see the photos
Rare and an interesting piece - slightly less disco looking. These tend to sell for £250 to £350 in original and old form. Arm board upgrades do not fit as in SL-1200’s.
•Every capacitor replaced and upgraded - all Nichicon expect for the axial cap which is now a BC. Not in the sonic path but good for many more decades now.
•Fully cleaned - everywhere
•Power cable replaced and upgraded - now screened
•Output cables upgraded to Van Damme XKE
•RCA plugs upgraded to KLE Silver Harmony types
•Every surface dampened a little to weight out and change the material dynamics to remove resonance
•Under arm dampened (as above)
•Arm return tuned correctly as well as the arm rest
•ISO Kinetic oil top up
•All pots cleaned and work superb and smooth(4)
•Keeps spot on timing
•No issues 🙂
Comes with a head shell and National Panasonic 270C cartridge. Works but can’t age it. These sell for about £75 alone.
Original cover is included but very damaged - will keep dust off but looks very nasty. The hinges are fine for a replacement.
Comes with the universal cover as seen in the photos.
Negative - one of the feet is a little damaged. Can only be seen on inspection and does not hinder performance. Spares come up on the Bay time to time or you may venture into something different. Feet style is not like the SL-1200 and therefore such upgrades won’t fit.
Collection way preferred.
