    That 'axial glide' looks the business Al, help you work in a tighter space no doubt. It all looks a big bugger though, perfect for a workshop but if I had to load/unload that into the van every day the novelty would soon wear off...

    I've been promising myself a nice little DeWalt number for years, something solid but portable, but they are pretty dear when new and I never wanted to risk a secondhand ebay jobbie. So when you come to sell yours you may have a buyer here, unless it's already spoken for.

    That is a Sarrus Linkage as everyone knows. My linear tracking tonearm uses the same principle.

    Its not spoken for but it is 110 volts , less chance of electrikereyfireing yourself

    Funny that - I have an invertor with nothing 110v to plug into it... given to me years ago, and I thought "that could be handy". Not so far
