    Very novice question & feeling a bit of a numpty to have to ask, Iv just bought an amp Rega Elex R the input connections at the back are not marked Left or right channels they are white on the top red at the bottom, so which is which.??? There is nothing in the instructions to say.

    The convention seems to be 'red=right'.

    As Joe says above Marc, I have always adopted the convention of R to R ie red to right
