    Default Wharfedale Laser 60 Speakers

I've just been given a pair of Wharfedale Laser 60 speakers in vgc that belonged to my late uncle; does anyone have experience of these speakers at all as I've not found much info by doing both forum and internet searches.
I'll give them a try myself but was thinking of changing the plastic cable connections to binding posts first (if it is worth it)
I initially thought of the Wharfedales for my second system as I currently run B&W DM600s in my main system but was thinking of changing around if beneficial.
    Any information much appreciated.

Maybe worth changing the caps on the crossover if they're electrolytic, they've probably gone off by now. I recommend polyprops.

I had a pair of Wharfdale Laser 90 back in the eighties, sound quite good as I remember. As Steve said it could be worth looking at the caps and I would replace the terminals with decent binding posts. Definitely worth giving them a listen.

    Thanks for the comments guys.
I've taken the back off one for a poke around and will make a shopping list of bits for the refurb/upgrade.
