    In the last photo it looks like a vertical scratch below the grill.
    No, no scratch - must be the way the camera flash catches the veneer grain.

    Yes, they are good.
    I had a 'modern KEF' itch that needed to be scratched and these did that very nicely.
    Precise, fast and open sounding - this generation of UNI-Q driver works well.
    Bass is taut and controlled, if you want bloom and warmth you probably need to look elsewhere - old school KEFs would do that.
