I'm by no means a royalist, but that doesn't make me anti-royal either. I have no interest in their comings and goings, but I would never wish them any harm. I'm happy for them to get on with their lives as long as they let me get on with mine. None of them chose to be born into a life of 'privilege'. And I do think they are great for tourism, the Americans particularly lapping it up. In that respect they probably pay their way, and then some.
Fortune, whether in health or wealth, varies with each person, and while I feel bad for those less fortunate, I don't harbour any ill will towards those who seem to 'have it all'. Their wealth, considerable as it is, would be a drop in the ocean when it comes to world poverty.
