Default Quad QC Twenty Four P Phono Stage for sale

Current spec model in unmarked condition. Bought in September 2016, brand new.

Designed for Quad by Tim de Paravicini, it supports both MM and MC carts (using onboard transformers). It includes 3 gain settings for each of the MM and MC inputs. It also includes a by-passable volume control so can be used without a separate pre-amp.

It uses four 6111WA military spec valves with a rated life of 100,000 hours. I always turn it off when not in use, so estimate usage at under 1500 hours.

    See http://www.quad-hifi.co.uk/product-detail.php?pid=17 for more details.

The unit has just been serviced by Quad at Huntingdon and has been checked on test to full factory specification.

Please note any marks visible in images are dust, smudges or reflections, I can’t see any marks on it.
Supplied with original packing, power cord, manual.

For a short time only I can offer the unit for £525 delivered as I can get it sent directly from Quad to the buyer.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

If it helps, here's a guide to using http://tinypic.com/ I wrote a while back.
