    My brother owned a FAL amplifier in the ‘70s.
    The company who built it was Futuristic Aids Ltd.

    Weren't the old FAL a UK PA equipment company? Unlikely to be related to a high end current Japanese company.

    That’s what I thought.

    Futuristic Aids Ltd. were based at Henconner Lane in Leeds.
    They made a Phase 25 and a Phase 44.
    Both were integrated amplifiers.
    My brother had the ‘25.

    Maybe FAL should have an “I” in there, as in FAIL. I shouldn’t say myself though, never heard them.

    Is this the Japanese Fal or the uk Fal. I know John Bent of Bent audio uses Fal speakers and has for several years so I assume they are good. My worry was that should they not be my thing I would never sell them.
