Default Star quad xlr cables or traditional

    Hi all.

Looking at getting some better XLR cables.

Its a given by most that star quad cabling is the best but there are plenty out there still developing traditional two core cables.

    So what gives?

    Anyone here have a preference?

40 years ago I was experimenting with coax v twin v star quad and the preference was star quad. Of course, you need to use the same cable construction to make the comparisons.

Strong shout out for the XLR I use between my phonostage and Pre.
Just gets out of the way and lets the music do its thing.

Nips at the heels of my much more expensive Wireworld Eclipse 8 XLR cable, highly recommended.
