Gentlemen......................
To bring some sanity back to this thread.
I am a new Voyd Valdi owner and I I am having trouble in setting up the TT
I have an Audio Note Arm 1 V2 to install and so far have been unsuccessful and am in need of help.
I am in Solihull and would welcome help from anybody reasonably close or perhaps a knowledgeable dealer

Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.
Is it the armboard? I think that Simon of SJS can help if you need an armboard.

SJS Simon has made me a suitable armboard...so thats OK
Having trouble adjusting the suspension and bringig the platter down to 5mm off the topplate. Just how far can the inserts protrude?
Also the AN arm cable seems to be remarkably inflexible and I cannot see how to dress the cable using the P clip. Doing it that way would foul the suspension pillar and motor.
At some point I may have to drill the plinth to exit the cable but until I find how best to dress the cable I cannot determine where to drill

Have you tried looping the cable, then into the p-clip.

the trick is always to loop the arm cable before the P clip so it can move vertically with freedom, but also doesn't drag the sub-chassis around horizontally. easier said than done
Here is a photo of my AN Arm 1-3 mk2 with the arm cable dressed inside the Voyd and exiting through the regular hole in the chassis. hopefully it helps to illustrate things.
It should not be necessary to drill new holes in the frame.

Aha! now it makes more sense. My Valdi strangely does not have an armcable exit at all!!
Can't imagine how that was intended
I will have to search out a suitable drill now I have a good idea where the exit hole should be
Thanks Simon for the picture.
Doubtless be in touch when it comes to putting the belt on !!!!!!!!!!!!!
