    Yes a Winters morning in May!! Reports of snow on the news and it felt bloody cold here.

    Plus Ive been gearing up for a new job and when I should be looking at short sleeved shirts, I have been wearing v neck jumpers. Again the British season of clothes doesnt match the weather. Its all extra money I am shelling out to look smart and keep warm

    I think our weather is getting more varied and its ticking me off. I would have thought the warmer air from Greece and Spain would have more influence but we seem to be getting the arctic fronts of hell.

    We haven't had rain for over two months but today has made up for it. Vertical stair rods and loads of Hailstones. The garden certainly appreciates it.

    6 degrees last night not much warmer this morning and its about 12 now but only as the sun has been out earlier but its now overcast.

    Ive seen better days in December. Yes it feels damn cold as there is a real chill in the air

    Ive got my fan heater on and that eats money

    Lol - cheers mate, will do.

    He is able too, and lives in his own (detached) house, less than 10 mins walk (or 3 in a car) from my door, and at the moment is completely self-sufficient. Drives up to Scotland himself (in one go) to see his relatives, does all his own gardening, and his garden is a decent size too, cooks all his meals from scratch and all sorts, and needs no major medicines or tablets... Hardly ever ill or gets a cold, and walks great.

    I'll settle for that when (or if) I reach his age!

    His dad reached 92, and enjoyed the same level of good health throughout his life, so it seems to run in the family.
