    Hello NinaNina

The UK is pretty rainy at times, I read maybe it a year or so back, you had a heatwave in summer. Apart from the cloud to the east (towards the ocean), may be a good may day. MOrnings are around 12 -13c this time of year. Be sure to post the midday heat, though, its not much around 23c i think
Spiders, the redback and funnel web, and a few more in the garden that dont hurt, the water dragons are hybernating so, will see Ms Lizard again in Spring or late winter (august)

Some 80s song rain in may

    Amps: Technics SU-V9, SU-V8 (black and silver), V8X, V4X ( 2 black, 1 silver) , G50 and SU-500

Yes the UK is certainly a bit rainy at times... luckily here on the south coast it's generally pretty good. We had a heatwave last year and boy it was hot... nice.. I just love the heat... Today was about 18° so definitely not hot enough for me....

I have a real phobia of spiders unless they are really small ones... but lizards etc i'm ok with..

The south coast would have more a rain shadow effect, and nicer climate than say up in North. We look forward to our summers ending, which is funny, this time of year is more nicer. I have walked into a few spider webs and its horrible, lol. Lizards are lovely, especially Miss Lizard, she comes running up to me, when Mr Lizard was chasing her about lol, she went between my legs for safety. I do hope they are okay, they left rather early this year

First morning that isnt cloudy, and the weather beauro got it wrong

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Here, it rains on average twice a week. The hills seem to keep us sheltered from most of the worst weather

Snowdonia gets a big chunk of your rain. Whereas we get everything it dumps when it finishes crossing the Cheshire Plain and starts rising up over the Pennines. Same as Manchester.

Does mean all the vegetation stays green even though most of it is growing on slag heaps, not soil.

Those hills you speak of, apparently they have eyes. Don't be looking at me like that, blame your barber for shaving your head when you only wanted a trim
