Wayne, I just read your thread and I have to say the Bergmann does look great, the Danes certainly do nice design, what's more from what I have read it is a very good TT with an extremely good parallel tracker. Very interesting as a parallel tracker and better TT was where I was considering going next, but not for a couple of years, I will certainly keep this is mind for the future. Also the rest of your system looks great and I bet it sound wonderful. Just a little bit green.
Listening is the act of aural discrimination and dissemination of sound, and accepting you get it wrong sometimes.

Analog Inputs: Pro-Ject Signature 10 TT & arm, Benz Micro LP-S, Michel Cusis MC, Goldring 2500 and Ortofon Rondo Blue cartridges, Hitachi FT5500 mk2 Tuner

Digital:- Marantz SA-KI Pearl CD player, RaspberryPi/HifiBerry Digi+ Pro, Buffalo NAS Drive

Amplification:- AudioValve Sunilda phono stage, Krell KSP-7B pre-amp, Krell KSA-80 power amp

Output: Wilson Benesch Vector speakers, KLH Ultimate One Headphones

Cables: Tellurium Q Ultra Black II RCA & Chord Epic 2 RCA, various speaker leads, & links

I think I am nearing audio nirvana, but don’t tell anyone.

Dunno yet, tracking just says they’re raised so when status shifts to ‘in delivery depot’ I’ll find out what the damage is.

Unless there’s some kind of miracle I’ll probably be kept waiting till next week to actually get it.

Customs add 3% import tax, then that cost added to the purchase price plus postage then 20% added to that total plus a 'collection' fee on anything over £15 purchase price, think £30 or so if it's a gift.

This can be billed days, weeks after receipt. But at least you can pay it online, although sometimes your need to collect the item at the Depot and pay before they hand it over.
