Interesting looking turntable. My father lusted for the Delphi turntable in the 80's.

I've always loved them. Had many TT's over the years including a Thorens TD160S, Townshend Rock/Excalibur/Merlin and LP12/Ekos, but after hearing my 1st Delphi (Mklll) at Radlett Audio back in 1988, I never really wanted any other TT. This one was also from Dave at Radlett which I picked up about a year ago and apart from needing a new belt and a service, is like new. Well chuffed.

Fantastic LP with great production. This is a later (1979/80 pressing I think), but still sounds superb. Would love to get hold of a decent 1st press, but becoming very difficult to find and very expensive when you do.

The Rock was a little bit dry and sterile sounding with no real emotion, but still a very nice turntable. Probably more accurate than the Delphi, but no depth for me.

I was thinking about getting that. How does it compare to the original?
