I'm not advocating that everyone use their own judgement. That would need to be addressed on an individual basis.

But who decides on whose judgement is good?

Why do you think your judgement is better that of others?

Not being argumentative just a genuine question.

Take speed as an example, you and I may have very different ideas of a safe speed for a given road, whose judgement is right?

You and I very probably perfectly fit and safe people to carry a knife, but that doesn't mean everybody is and who is the right person to decide who is or isn't a fit person to do so?

I would too, but he'll probably be out with the judge, taking a 'golden shower' at the local massage parlour, and be otherwise occupied having his diapered-butt spanked, while dressed as an adult baby, and the cops will be too busy snorting Charlie that they've mugged off the local drug dealer, to 'stake out' anything but a Big Mac and fries.

Perhaps anyone who has to ask who should be making judgements is not qualified to decide who this should be.

I'm normally law abiding, of course I am, but when money was tight the condition of my car tyres was not the most important thing to me, eating was more so...

To be honest the tyres were not 'bald' as some have suggested but they weren't 100% either but probably could have passed the MOT at the time

However I think being stopped consistently for not wearing a seat belt when there was a paralytic, and potential killer, driving about the place is just nonsensical to me. Who was I going to kill by not wearing a seat belt? probably nobody, but someone that was as drunk as this guy was is totally different, for all I know he could well have injured or killed someone

I won't be drawn into discussing law breaking as I'm sure we've all done it at some point in our lives and I'm not perfect either
