    oliver and i were talking the other day on the subject of interconnects going straight to the tonearm wire rather than via a din plug and low and behold yours has it already

    Hi Jamie, I think you can actually buy those VPI RCA to tone arm blocks separately but not sure how it would look bolted to your deck?

    it would have to go under it ideally so the tonearm wires exit straight into the box.this also brings about few problems though.
    just looked and yes you can buy them,

    I've always liked the look of the VPI decks and have been seriously tempted to sell off the Techie just so I could buy one but I've always bottled it in case I didn't like it.

    I can assure you there is nothing to be afraid of, these decks sound stunning. Oliver and Alan(Firebottle) have both heard it and they did not feel it was lacking even though its a belter!

    Yes, I had a very extended listen to this TT at Jims and it's very good at doing the disappearing act. Stability was fine and I didn't notice any Wow or Flutter.

    I'd personally never move away from DD, but I was really impressed with it.
