    Unhappy Notre Dame on Fire

Awful news, a loss for Paris and the world.

Been watching it. Not exactly a speedy and massive response from the fire brigade is it?

Looks like they are trying to stop it spreading to the two bell towers. What a shame. Went there about 7 years ago and it was a magnificent building.

It is sad. I went there in about 1984 I think. A lot of fascinating history going up in smoke. They'll rebuild it of course.

There are flames in one of them. I hope they manage to save the main structure, but it looks very bad.

It's been burning for about 2 hours and they've got 2 hoses on it? What's that all about?

Sad day for France and the French. The monument the most visited in Europe is gone!
