Its not really a station I listen to as it has a mediocre local radio(without the adverts) feeling

Its got that Smashey and Nicey feel of all the old radio 1 DJs moving to Radio 2....easy listening mate......all a bit insipid really with safe music and small talk that pushes no boundaries. Am I wrong?

I listen to radio 6 and radio 3....aaaaah radio 3 when I cant handle crap rap I relax with some classical or opera music

    Wot, no Popmaster?

I usually have R2 on while working, but when with others I leave it to them. One mate likes Planet Rock, and that's fine, another chooses Heart, which I really can't be doing with. I have considered phoning in and asking if they want to borrow some CDs, my collection is clearly bigger than theirs.

Not a fan of Jeremy Vine though, he does my head in a bit. Especially when Dr. Sarah Jarvis is on. She seems more concerned with impressing everyone with her knowledge than helping anyone.

Its not a station I ever need to listen to. Middle of the road middle class easy listening for fans that used to like the Simon Bates stories. safe playlists Van Morrisons brown eyed girl.... Chris Rea etc....boring MOR presenters.

As I said before its where all the old radio 1 presenters go to fade away before the pension

It never really pushes anything. No radio station is perfect but radio 6 is where I go because the music is better and it attracts more cool presenters

Radio 2 is my worktime music for singing along to (and ruining with my voice), I don't want anything that grabs my attention. For critical listening I would choose R1 or 6 music.

A short time later the producer connects his laptop into the system and his music saves the day

Never heard of that one before . It was funny though
Hilarious! That's what happens though when you rely solely on technology! It wouldn't have happened if they still kept CDPs, T/Ts and physical music media in today's radio stations, rather than just used computers
