Default Wharfedale Airedale Speakers (not the new ones)

Despite the fact I said I'm going to settle down and not take punts on things any more, I seem to have bought myself a pair of these on ebay. I've always been intrigued by these speakers and I thought the price was very reasonable given the restoration has been done already. I don't have the time to restore things myself these days so I wouldn't have bought them otherwise. Does anyone have any first hand experience of them?

They look tidy enough. Never heard any though.

I'll update at the weekend, not expecting too much but that's based on an old pair of W4s I bought that had 12" bass units and hadn't had the capacitors replaced. I'll see what difference the new caps and 15" woofer make. Also if the omni sound suits me.

Arrived today and sounding pretty good actually. Unfortunately they're way too big for my domestic situation so they're in the classifieds if anyone wants to give them a good home
