Default Recommendations for silver plater copper for speaker cables

Hi, any suggestions for silver plated copper for new speaker cables. I'm looking at replacing my van Damm 6mm studio blue jobbies. Just an itch I've got to scratch.

Morrow cables, their previous silver plated copper design.

    Bit of a sleeper?
High end American shows, guys like McIntosh, Cary, Jeff Rowland and Rockport have all used their speaker cables.
Won best of show awards many times.

Bit of a sleeper love mine, no need to change.

Andrew, have a spare set you can borrow see if you like if 3m a side is enough.
    AC POWER
Hardwired 10kVA balanced mains powering entire system

I think you'd get better results from upgrading your Van Damme to the "HiFi" cable, rather than silver-plated copper, which for me imparts a weird balance with some edge at the top-end, which am sure some will attribute to more "detail".

I used fisual stuff that was silver plated copper and shielded if memory serves.

ive tried 2.5/4 and 6mm van damme, found them all the warm side of neutral, fisual stuff is quite a bit more lively.

    how much do you need?

I have been using DH Labs cables, T-14 or Q-10 for about twenty years. It is silver plated copper, I like it very much or I would have gotten rid of it long ago. I don't know how easy or expensive to get over across the pond.

With that being said, I pretty much use all of their cable, IC's, USB etc. Over here, it is priced at the sort of lower end of the ridiculous spectrum. FWIW...

    Chord Epic Twin...

or even better, Chord Epic Super Twin.

    Fantastic cables.

Van Damme Blue cables are not Hifi cables so you'll see marked improvements. Their Hifi version is also pretty nasty, but it wasn't bad, as cheap wire goes, its ok, Mogami 3104 is much better though.

LOL when I read this!!!! So, Van Damme Blue isn't hifi cable? Well what is it??? Anyway when I was foolish and a label snob I used to have cabling costing many £100's per meter, then I realised how much of a mug I'd been when the Van Damme sounded so very much better.

Fisual, this brand seems to get many recommendations. Thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to find these.

Thanks, that's why I'm asking for suggestions for alternatives.

There is absolutely no harshness in silver plated copper/ Teflon wire when used for speaker cables.
Some claim silver wire is bright, it is not, is it more resolving and dose it allow for more shimmer and decay in Ride symbols,
Yes, it dose. And it is not a bad thing.
