I believe that Nick told the cleaner not to go near the turntable, which is the same thing [thus the whole area was effectively out of bounds], so on the basis of ignoring a simple instruction, then yes, I'd 'have the heart' to dock their wages.
Then next time you can rest assured that, once things have been fixed, they'll not 'forget' to leave the turntable well alone!
