My first was a Garrard Sp25, then a Dual 505, can't remember which models.
Then after a pay rise a Linn LP12. Later sold for an air ticket.
    Currently an Pro-ject 1.1

At my family home we had a basic Alba turnable with built in amp and basic speakers. The turntable itself was the ubiquitous BSR automatic.

1980's JVC basic tt from Richer Sounds as part of my first system when I left home.
Revolver Rebel. Had that for years
JVC Ql-y5f turntable. Wished I kept this.
Creek Wyndsor. Superfi special deal but not all that good in the end.
    Michell Orbe
Michell Orbe Spyder. I bought the Spyder kit but not sure you can do that yourself anymore.
    SME 20/2

The Orbe started with a Rega arm off the Creek and then a AudioMods Series IV

The AudioMods went on the SME 20/2 for a while using a Rega to SME adapter and then I got my current SME V

Sanyo Music Centre (with 'separate' turntable! How posh?)
    Thorens TD150 MkII
    Dual 50-something?
...nothing for 15 years or so...
    Rega Planar 1
    Linn Axis
Linn Sondek (Cirkus... yadda yadda yadda...)

    Default To thorens and back!

Hi all I'm John. My turntable journey not as extensive as some. When I look at it I keep my turntable nearly twenty years!

    1980: Thorens td166. Sixteen years old couldn't afford LP12!
1985: Linn LP12, Linn basic LVV, AT cartridge. Linn Ittok, Valhalla, Pink Link, Aro, RATA Torlyte armboard and subchassis all followed.
2006: Michell Orbe SE still in use daily.
2014: Thorens TD2030 my 50th present to myself, also in use daily.
    2024: My 60th!

    Thanks for looking,

    1980 Sony Music Centre
    1989 Linn Axis Turntable
    2017 Michel Orbe SE

A lot of time between drinks!

My son has the Linn Axis and it’s still going strong.
I also have a couple of vintage record players, a Fidelity and a 1958 Dansette Model 32 with a Garrard deck
