    I'm Alisdair.

    Default Hello from Highland Perthshire

Just a post to Introduce myself.

I'm Al and I've lived in Highland Perthshire for the last 30 years or so.

I really got into music and Hifi in my university days in the 80's.

My system at the moment consists of the following:

The Source turntable, Mission 774 arm and Denon 103d cartridge (all from the 80's although I rebuilt the turntable last year)
    Tisbury Audio Domino phono stage
    Auralic Aries Mini streamer
Jolida Glass FX DAC (Modwright upgrades)
    Music First (silver) pre-amp
    Dynavector HX1.2 power amp
    Martin Logan Ascent speakers.

It's taken a long time to get here but really enjoy the current system.

It would be good to hear from any members in the area.

    Al

Hi and welcome. Some nice kit you have there. :-)
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
