    I'm Greg.

Default Hi From Ann Arbor MI.

Hi from Ann Arbor MI. Recently came across this forum so thought I would join. Been an audiophile since I walked into the Stereoland store on 7 Mile Rd. in Detroit MI. in the 60's. Did always have some sort of average turntable/stereo system until I walked in there and entered the world of JBL and Crown. Am still a JBL "guy" but have changed over from Crown to Bryston in the 90's. Still listen to vinyl.
Retired from working in the tele-communications industry (Michigan Bell, AT&T & Lucent) in 2001 after 34 years. Have some Pro-Audio in my background FOH (Front Of House) and Foldback (Stage monitors) concert mixing. Did that for about 15 years.
Recently took the "plunge" into home wireless audio by purchasing a Bluesound System. Have so far "digitized" my LP collection (1300+ LP's) and CD collection (1000 +). Still adding to the system...currently over 44,000 tracks. So far very happy with it.
Music "tastes": Blues; Jazz; Swing; "good" Rock n' Roll & Pop (old & new); Motown; No Heavy Metal, Rap or Hip-Hop; some county.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
