    Default Ahoy!

Rossi Cordele here (that's my undercover name) in Columbus, GA, USA. After many years I brought out my Sansui FR5800 turntable with Stanton 681EEE stylus, both bought while stationed with the US Navy at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in the mid 1970's, to be pleased that they play as well as when new as far as my 63 year old ears can tell. The preamp is an Art Accessories DJPreII going into a Harman Kardon AVR1710 and playing into a pair of JBL ARC30's and JBL FLIX20 surround speakers.

I am pleased to again hear my LP's and to have found some good sources for buying more. I also inherited a Telefunken HiFi cabinet that works, but it requires internal dusting and inspection before I trust the tubes and wires to not catch fire and/or short out after a few minutes. I had one McIntosh C8 preamp and MC30 amplifier, but I sold them to a collector.

Thank you for accepting me to the forum.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
