Gee I wish I was looking for a pre at the moment as I would grab this off you Phil. In fact I nearly did an impulse purchase just before Kegworth but held back. Heard lots of good things about the Freya Pre, esp with the Tungsols you have (extra cost). Like you I found using balanced from a source (in both our cases DACs) to the pre gives a worthwhile lift, far more than going balanced between pre and power. So nice to have a pre with a balanced input option.
Anyway sadly I don't need a pre at the mo - but your price is very tempting. GLWS.
