Default Strathclyde Transcription Developments STD 305M turntable

Strathclyde Transcription Developments STD 305M turntable

Works well, bearing cleaned and new turntable oil added. Comes with the original mat. No box or manual though.

Keeps time ands sounds sublime - light of foot.

Has the standard SME mount but Rega adaptors by Origin Live are available to purchase off eBay.

Has some scratches but very hard to photograph due to reflections. But for the age of a 70’s turntable it is very good.

SME tonearm in the photos is not included in the sale, just the turntable. Arm is for sale separately.

The underside cover is secured by two screws. The previous owner lost the others as he wanted quick access to the levelling springs. No doubt if this is a concern they cost pennies to replace.

Turntable is heavy so collection only in Gloucester. I can provide some bubblewrap to sit under the top of the turntable to secure the float for transport.

Nice TT and getting rarer in good nic.

£100 collected is a mega deal
Be quick, on eBay for somewhat more...

    Hi Robert

Superb turntable, i had one for 35 years and only replaced it last year. Mine was fitted with an at1120 arm and ADC zlx cartridge.

It's a give away price and I'm really tempted, pity I've not much room.

    Bargain for someone.

I've had a few of them, even used to have a website dedicated to them, sadly long gone. Yes it's a bargain price and a BIG temptation.
