Hi again
I am back here after a long absence.Health etc and other woes but on the up again now.
Listen to mostly rock (progressive rather than AC/DC but not the pretentious stuff). I also like a bit of the more easy-going stuff as I get older and am not averse to sticking on some Natalie Imbriglia if I feel like it even if her recordings are terrible. No wife anymore, kids are doing their own thing. Spend most time reading and listening to music and discovering new bands, if possible.

I have just ordered a pair of Tannoy XT 6Fs - I think they will liven things up a bit after having an audition last week. The 3050s remain fine loudspeakers at this budget though and I will continue to use them I think. I am interested in how the bass on the Tannoys sounds in my room - hoping it is a bit more controlled.
