Default Is Paul Hynes still „active“

    Hello,

it seems that are are a lot of Paul Hynes Regulator users in this forum.
Does anyone know if his business is still active?

I have been his customer a couple of times in the past, so I know the outstanding quality and customer support he can offer. Also, I know that it might take a little time until he ships his creations.

I ordered a couple of 3 pin regs in June last year and payed several hundred punds for them via paypal. Until then there is no reply on any of my emails. Is there another way of reaching him? A couple of month ago there was still a telephone number on his website. The website is under construction at the moment without a telephone number, so I figure his business is still active.

Does anyone know if he is still well and open for business?
It has been almost 9 month now and I wonder if something happened to him?

    Thanks
    Florian

Paul can be tricky to get hold of, he lives on one of the Western Isles off the west coast of Scotland and he's a full time carer for both his parents.

I do know he was trying to gain funding from the local council to train some of the local people to help with the building of his products. Not sure of that happened or not as it's been a couple of years since I spoke to him.

Once I finish work this week I'll see if I can reach him for you.

Often, the best way to get hold of Paul is to telephone and leave a voice message, which he usually returns fairly quickly.

Well, his telephone number is not publicly available anymore. Could you send it via PM?

I've lost his number for some reason, I can only think it didn't copy across to my new phone grrrr.

Sorry. I'll keep trying to track it down though

Paul had been posting on Computeraudiophile forum as recent as yesterday, you might have more luck contacting him there.

Quick Update: I finally recieved a replay via email.
Apparently his workshop is up and running again, although it still might take a while untill my order is the first on the list.
But I can wait, his power supplys are woth it.

    Best
