Thanks for your help and views guys

I have decided to buy the quad qsp. I now need something to put my sources through, either a pre amp or a DAC .

My sources are a Arcam 23t cd player, A laptop for streaming, a TV.

    any ideas?

Interesting review download here, comparing the QSP with the foregoing 909.

It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I don't know who told you that, but you should be able to use any CD player or DAC. You'd probably do just as well using a passive pre-amp though. You can even get pre-amps with decent DACs built in.

This sort of thing is available, it might suit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-DAC-A...iiA:rk:76:pf:0

The Xiang Sheng units have been well enough received and the seller Douk is good.
