That was the plan, but first I needed to get the stains out - I don't want to be an embarrassment to AoS - so Anita put it on a boil wash. It has shrunken so badly that I will need to lose about six stones to fit in it. I'm trying my best, I no longer deep-fry my Weetabix, but with only three weeks to go I feel that time is not on my side
I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in

T/T: Inspire Monarch, X200 tonearm, Ortofon Quintet Blue. Phono: Project Tube Box CD: Marantz CD6006 (UK Edition); Amp: Musical Fidelity A5 Integrated.
Speakers: Zu Omen Def, REL T9i subwoofer. Cables: Atlas Equator interconnects, Atlas Hyper 3.0 speaker cables

    T'other system:
Echo Dot, Amptastic Mini One,Arcam A75 integrated, Celestion 5's, BK XLS-200 DF

    A/V:
LG 55" OLED, Panasonic Blu Ray, Sony a/v amp, MA Radius speakers, REL Storm sub

Forget the past, it's gone. And don't worry about the future, it doesn't exist. There is only NOW.

Just a heads up for those that do not frequent the Wam Forum it has been announced that the Room allocations will be done and released on 01/03 so anyone can see where to find those exhibiting and plan your day. Would also note for anyone who is showing a system that 28/02 is the last day they will be able to make a note of any changes to your system .You can still make the changes after that but they will not appear in the guide and layout brochure that gets given to visitors on the day .

Right for anyone interested the room allocations have been made for Kegworth . I will be in room 108 . If any visit and come to the room please introduce yourself and let me know your from AOS . I can guarantee I will forget all names given to me but for the time you are there it will make me pleased to know you made the effort. If you enjoy the system and the music let me know . If you dont then slink out the room quietly . Open invitation if you want to hear something specific either bring a CD (sorry not vinyl playback) or just ask me i may well have it on my hard drive .

Just a few weeks to go chaps. And as an added incentive I have had a generous offer from Mike Valentine of Valentine music.

He has given me 5 free tracks including 3 x 24/192 of his recordings, one of which I attended. I intend to let every exhibitor have a set of them if they want them. And if you see me and say 'you are George47 and I claim my free music' you can have a copy as well. I took the Beethoven 10 minute track around to two audiophiles yesterday and they were amazed at the dynamics of the recording and demanded a copy. It is a great recording and has not been released yet.

From your mad Wammer (less of the olde Justin ).

I'm in 119 if you want to say hello. HiFi currently in a transient state as I haven't quite gelled everything together with my Jordan JX92S based speakers. Really wanted valves to work but looks like I'll probably be bringing my Tripath amp which sounds the most balanced across the whole frequency range.
