    Default Hi folks

    Good evening from Sheffield.

Just to introduce myself. I’ve a quad 33/FM3/33. Mint, with wooden sleeve and my pride and joy.

Recently purchased a Croft Phono Integrated and I’m mainly here to ask about that as it’s taking some adjustment after the Quad.

Playing into Wharfedale Denton 80th anniversary speakers. My dad is also giving me his 12” monitor golds when I move and have space. Can’t wait for that.

Fact about me? I’m a long sufferer of tinnitus and music can be my best friend or my worst enemy. I wonder if there are others here who share that experience.

Looking forward to spending time here.

    Cheers!

Several people here with tinnitus (myself included, only really noticed it after having my ears syringed). Often seems to be worse while listening to music

Also lots on here with Quad and Tannoy gear,so you're in good company Your views on the Dentons will be most welcome too.

    Hello Alfie. Welcome to AOS.

There are a few of us here who have tinnitus, so you aren't alone.

The Monitor Golds should be nice and will probably be fine with the Croft or the Quads.

    Enjoy the forum,
    Geoff.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

    Welcome to AoS Alfie.

I would imagine the Croft provides a different presentation to the Quad. What is it about the Croft that is "taking some adjustment"?

What is your source and what are your tastes in music?

    Enjoy the Forum
