Default Help with a Rega planar motor

    Hi guys,

As some of you know I'm upgrading my old Planar 3, at the moment I'm upgrading the plinth and decoupling the motor and mounting it on a sub plinth, problem is I'm not sure if the motor or pcb is buggered I have a soldering iron but I don't have a multimeter to check everything out, is there anyone in the Chorley area that could help me?

    Hi Mike
Important information here that is essential for any repair or upgrading: https://www.vinylengine.com/library/rega/planar-3.shtml , maybe that will help
Hope one of the other members can help you with a multimeter, as I am in New Zealand.
