I do, but don't know why that would be?

I'll get a pic of the "chuck" so you we have a better look

Its being used more and more at the minute. The phonostage is opening up and sounding rather stunning. I may never make another phonostage because I don't feel like I can talk about it

I'll be rewiring the phonostage asap with full fat SPOTFIRE wire and might be changing the Mundorf caps to Obbligato. They have really worked well in the DCB1 and although that's no guarantee of anything, I just fancy giving them a go

John Lee Hooker on ATM, superb.

    Hmmm.

Just tried to find my protractor but can't find it currently. I'll have a better look tomorrow but I can't imagine a reason why it would have changed as I haven't messed with it at all since Angus visited last a few weeks back.

He readjusted everything as we played with the Vienna a bit IIRC.

I don't know mate if I'm perfectly honest. What I do know is that he uses custom angles but he goes into levels of detail I'd never thought of lol

If you've got it bang on, i wouldn't worry. I'm sure Angus might be able to chime in with a suggestion or confirm we have no idea lol

Changing topic temporarily, I have taken the plunge on a fantastic pair of speakers for a great price.

How do I know how good they are? Ha! I already own two pairs lol

    PIONEER CS-77A's !!

This pair have a defective Tweeter so thankfully, my spare pair have two working tweeters. Simple case of two broken pairs made into one good pair. Cabinets *should* come up nicely with the same sanding and Danish oil technique i used on my working pair. Tweeters also need new foam surrounds but I have someone on the case. Should come up really nice when done. Only other things that it requires are better binding posts and eventually, rebuilt Crossovers.

The cost? 120! and a favour from a very good fellow by the name of Shaman who's going to collect them and drop them off here for me. What a legend!

You Cannot get a better pair of speakers for that price, I am totally convinced.

Should be here Thursday. Pics to follow

it says the mounting distance should be 225mm spindle to pivot,it shouldn't matter really as thats the point of the headshell tube being able to slide in and out to get the correct over hang,it was something that caught my eye thats all.
but as you say it would be good to hear what angus makes of the difference between the 2 arms, you would think that the same arms and cartridge should share the same headshell collar distance from the chuck.
