For Sale Pioneer PLC-590 With PA-5000 Tonearm.
Im sad to sell this but its a shame its not getting used since i bought a sony TTS-8000.
It comes with the very,very rare high end option at the time of manufacture Pioneer PA-5000 10inch tonearm. Features include VTA on the fly and chuck type headshell locking.

The tonearm was sent to Angus (phonomac) for a rewire and check over.
The work done to the arm is:
rewire with KAB Superflex
fit tube damping inserts
re-surface and polish the bearing pins
clean the pivot bearings (both sides and the top)
fit a ceramic hybrid bearing in place of the ball-race at the base of the bearing housing
clean and lubricate the VTA mechanism with special synthetic grease
assemble the arm and finalise bearing adjustment.
I have the original SME type armboard as well as panzerholz and aluminium one and also one for linn geometry tonearms and both manuals for the turntable and arm with mounting template.
The lid has a few light marks but nothing that wont polish out with t-cut.
This is a very rare turntable with an even rarer tonearm,if you love classic jap direct drives this is one of the great classic examples.

the tenuto mat and AT-1010 tonearm is not included in the sale.
