Amp to drive 15" bass driver to 150Hz
My bass drivers are about 98 dB efficient so absolute power is not an essential and may be a disadvantage. Low pass filtering will take place in a separate DSP.
The bass drivers and amp will only need to perform to about 150Hz and sound quality is paramount. Oh, and no thump on turn on/off.
Last time I did this I used a Sugden Class A A21, but that's long sold. Anyway it ran far to hot for me.
Does anyone have recommendations?
