    Funny how cats seem to time-share the same real estate.

    Still bitterly cold here, sun has now gone in. Predicted to warm up considerably overnight and next week, thank god. Fog is forecast too!

    Just been out in the garden with the pooch. Feels bloody nippy!

    At least the light each day is getting more spring like as we move further on from the winter solstice.

    just short of 9 hrs daylight up here. certainly makes you feel more happy...just hoping we dont get one of our late 2 feet of snow up here...

    Partly right, during WW2 the house that was here was bombed and destroyed. Dad bought the land and built a new house, that would have been about 1947, so that is how old the door is.

    Here we are not out of the woods on that until half way through March. Although we are quite high up. But for you up there I'd guess it is more like end of May before you're safe?
