No. The vat holds a concentrated alkaline solution to break down the soft matter. The hard bits that remain (bones/teeth) then go into a smaller acid bath for a while, eventually all that's left are any metal artifacts. Dental bits and hip joints etc. You get the picture.Originally Posted by Marco

One of my guilty pleasures is tuning into BBC traffic reports on the radio, during rush hour, particularly when there are adverse weather conditions, such as heavy snow, and listening to details of long queues and traffic jams, then (inwardly) giggling at all the 'rats' stuck in them, running their daily rat race, as I'm nicely tucked up at home with my feet up...!
