Never heard a Radford. Unqualified to know where this amp is at. But it was a long time coming and this does look nicely done.

Bought my first Radford amp a few months ago, one of the few bits of kit I found that actually lives up to the hype...
I you love the Tannoy sound I can't imagine where you'd go to better this.

Ok it’s decided. The Radford will be heading for the New Forest.

    Gosh.

Thank you, I am certain I will. Even though I have spent the last 6 months having a STA15 fettled and being delighted with the results, I couldn't believe my luck when I logged on and saw Tom's post. Like everyone else I have drooled over Tom and Will's postings about this amp. It's becoming a bit of a habit buying Tom's cast-offs, a turntable, a power amp and a couple of cartridges over the years
It's going to a good home where it will drive a pair of vintage Tannoy GRF Corner Horns with 15" MGs.

So, off to buy Gordan's SIT, then?
    It DOES have -kind-of - tubes/valves.

Whoops! Too late...saved me from temptation!
