Yes, the finish is very clean and simple but there is a bit of "something" about it. As always, it's about the sound per ££££

I'm very happy with them and their performance. Still underpriced too, seeing as I'm now "trade!"

A little bake off was had with some competing continuous cast cables from Furutech, the Spotfires came off best and they are cheaper.

Yes, it was very pleasing but it was also interesting.

    For those wondering "Better how":

The initial listening comprised of the SPOTFIRE in Situ. Alan sat with his Flabber, completely Ghasted!

"I can hear the reflections in the Venue!"

    "The soundstage is massive"

When we took the SPOTFIRE out, we also took out the reflections and the huge soundstage, as neither set of the Furutech cables was transparent enough to replicate what we'd just heard.

Oddly, (or not for me, as my opinion has been formed around this experimentation and thus accumulated knowledge) the more expensive set with Furutech locking plugs, lost out to the cheaper pair with MSAudio plugs.

I would bet a decent sum of cashola, that BOTH cables would show improvement with better RCA plugs. Which is what I'd recommend to the owner of said cables.

I have long held the belief, that all-metal construction plugs, especially at the contact area, such as the Furutech, lose out to those constructed like the KLE and AECO plugs.

    Thanks Russell.

If I decide to venture further afield, I might have to but whilst I can keep them low, I will!
