    Default Toshiba sd9200

I have the opportunity of buying a Toshiba sd9200 DVD player which I would use as a cd transport. Anyone have any experiences of these as a CD transport?
    Thanks.

I wouldn't bother, the magic is with the 9500 not the cheaper, older 9200. Of course if its free, then go ahead. This machine is good on DVD A discs, not bad on HDCD, but CDs nope and as a transport its not as good as the 9500.

I own an 9200 and 9500 and the 9500 is much better.

I would think though that if it goes faulty then getting spares might be very difficult. As I say, if its free sure, but parting with cash nope. In my view its worth maybe a 100 bucks tops, if mint, boxed, with remote. I hate saying that as I have one sitting unused and doubt it would sell.
    Regards Neil
