I've already started working on building one to my own spec, it'll be a bit different. 24v brush motor and lead acid batteries initially. Took me a while to track down a suitable 'pedal assist' controller.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Thought my cycling days were over. A couple of neuro surgeries took the wind out my sails.

Tried one of my bikes last year was able to ride a cycle path...nearly burst out crying.

I have a steel on one and a orange five-dont think I will be a able to do them justice but an absolute pleasure to turn my legs again.

Hoping this summer to get me covid belly reduced and turn some miles.

Still have a motorbike Sorned...you live in hope!!!!

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

This Gravel bike has been superb. Rides like a road bike but has off road capabilities too if you want to do a bit of singletrack.

Not really updated this much and truth be told I've not done much riding lately

But I've been on a bit of a health kick and by increasing my general daily movement, keeping to a fairly sensible daily calorie allowance I've managed to drop just over a stone in 6 weeks or so.

I've also booked myself a few days off in early September and am going to to the coast to coast cycle route from Workington to Sunderland. Should be a good challenge over 3 days. Let the training commence!
