    Default My Bigbottle Build

    Hi all.
I have finally got round to my Phono Stage build having been pre- occupied with building my Dual Mono DCB1.

This build will be almost the same as Oliver's (Bigman80)
Vishay and Dale resistors and a single Audio Note Silver Tantalum in the Eq and possibly a couple of Audio Note or Jupiter beeswax and paper caps...

Will post pics and what it's like for a novice to build

    Turntable; Rega p8
    Cartridge; Alpheta mc
Phono Stage; Rega Aria, Bigbottle 3 mm/mc
    Amplifier; Rega Elicit
    Speakers; Rega Rx3

Just a little update and a few pics of the build so far.
The build is being held up by really slow delivery of a few vital components i.e. Transformer and case.

Valve bases, Tx and case on their way!!!

Be interesting to hear your thoughts on it, especially as you now have, in many people's opinion, a proper reference phonostage.

The £350 (DIY) minnow Vs The might of the £1800ish Paradise!

    Epic!
