A little bit full-on for this time of morning, rather like being awoken with a bucket of cold water, but I agreed with everything he said. It looks like he does a few rants, so I'll give them a watch when I get home.
I'd love this kind of thing get a regular slot on TV, unfortunately the people he's railing against are the very ones pulling the strings of those in charge of the buttons, so that's not going to happen

It's intriguing that most people who watch it agree with the sentiments, that being the case why does the PC, snowflake brigade have so much clout?

It's an interesting question. How did it get this bad? Who is driving this nonsense?
It has engulfed politics, news, entertainment, sport, advertising and everything else in recent years, but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people have no time for it, as you say.
I have heard many theories, but none of them explain it entirely.
TV is more or less dead for young people though, nearly all original commentary is taking place on the internet now. There are countercultural political Youtubers with bigger Twitter audiences than Laura Kuensberg or Robert Peston, so there is hope that the next generation are about to rebel against this nonsense. My 13yo son follows political Youtubers but never, ever watches TV. Same goes for his mates.
Jonathan Pie used to be more left wing at one time, but he is starting to reject PC leftism more and more these days.
