    You should be its a lovely item. I was very tempted to buy it to have a spare, but I already have its champagne gold previous brother, so that would have been greedy.

    You should try getting some DVD Audio discs, as that is why I have mine.

    Well its main strength is DVD A, it was among the last of the great dedicated DVDA devices from one of the Japanese majors. Its a good DVD player and has a good DAC, and also pretty good at HDCD decoding. It sounds better from its balanced outputs, though I use mine as DVDA transport into a Esoteric D5 DAC which can decode the DVDA discs. Never tried it as a CD player, so I have no idea how good it is at that.
