    Is there any mechanism to display posts in reverse order: that is, with most recent posts showing first?

    I reckon that this should be the default setting though!

    you could try settings... thread display mode...linear newest first. that should sort you

    Yes, up to a point. However, for the few threads I follow it would be great to set the default to most recent first.

    go to settings at top, then down left side to my account general settings. then down to thread display options. thread display mode. linear newest first.
