    Default How unlucky?

One of colleagues cars was written off in early December when a drink driver crashed into while it was parked outside work.
His brand new replacement car was delivered on Friday and yesterday morning his wife was hit head on by another drunk driver almost certainly writing off their new car.

The problem is inexperienced drink drivers. Most of the year it's the same people who drive drunk and they are used to doing it. But come Xmas all the people with no drink driving experience decide they want to have a go at it too and then it usually ends badly.

The problem is those who drink and then choose to put others lives at risk. Don't care whether they are experienced or not. Stop doing itˇ

Of course. However what I posted was my uncle's explanation for the problem. He was a policeman and, in his own words, an 'experienced drunk driver'. He did not appreciate all the amateurs giving him a bad name.

Not really receptive to jokes about drink driving since a drunk mounted the pavement and killed a family friend leaving her two kids without a mother!
